From the Mean Streets of Los Angeles to the Sandy Beaches of Micronesia
Sheriff's Sergeant Tom Parker has to get out of Los Angeles before he gets hurt
on the job, or goes over the edge emotionally. He is approaching middle age, wondering
if there isn't more to life than nightshifts, and is tired of ducking bullets and
breaking up fights in gang territory. He wins millions of dollars gambling in Las
Vegas and makes his way to the sun, surf and sand of Saipan in Micronesia.
Tom buys an old dilapidated hotel, starts a Private Investigations agency, and is
soon involved with a myriad of characters, some hilarious and others deadly, from
Asia and the mainland. With his divorce final, he enjoys a series of ladies, but
unexpectedly falls in love with his hotel manager, Cocina, a Filipina with three
children. He and his Private Eye partner, Carlos, come in conflict with local officials
and hoodlums, and soon the shooting starts. Tom vowed that he would never re-marry,
or get back into police work, but he breaks both these resolutions after several
months on the island.
Even with the dark days of grief and hardship after several shootings, Tom never
despairs. He is where he wants to be, enjoys the sunsets, windsurfing, making new
friends, playing ukulele music, and drinking lo-calorie pina coladas... and finding
new love.

Enjoying Bursts of Happiness and Finding True Adventure.
After moving on from the mean, violent streets of Los Angeles, retired sheriff's
sergeant Tom Parker continues on with his International Private Investigations Agency
and his refurbished rose-colored hotel on the beach in the Marianas Islands. Tom's
partner is strongman Carlos Montano, Chamorro warrior, and together, they investigate
a series of murders, kidnappings, frauds and assassinations, in locales as far away
as the Philippines Islands. Tom still enjoys a "high" when he hears the clicking
sounds of applied handcuffs to bad-ass suspects.
Tom married his hotel manager, Cocina, and Carlos married the Chinese translator,
Daisy. They cross paths with dozens of beautiful ladies and so far, have resisted
other feminine wiles. Tom is still trying to master sail-boarding and belly boards,
and finds great success in fishing in the northern islands with his two brothers.
Tom and Carlos investigate a series of crazy and wild PI cases, including cases
with Whitey the Tiger, and Leo the Bull. They're still in good stead with the professional
police commissioner, but not so with her dopey cops. Be ready for some exciting
and interesting adventures, and political intrigue, interlaced with romance and
full moons.

assigned to work with world famous Robert Kraig, a modern Indiana Jones, doing excavations
all over the world. His current work deals with Jose Rizal, the independence hero
of the Philippines. She is finishing up her doctoral dissertation on the Spanish
American War and needs the information about Rizal, which, if all goes well, will
likely result in her attaining her doctorate and a lucrative teaching position in
California. She doesn't expect Robert to be so unmarried, masculine and fit, and
finds him extremely attractive.

successful modeling agency and lands contracts in Davao City and Los Angeles. She

predator and a playgirl.
While Edie is away, Heather makes her move on Robert after a professional presentation
at the Manila Historical Preservation Office. Edie hears through the grapevine that
Robert and Heather had sex, but Robert isn't convinced because of his cloudy recollection
after too much wine. Then again, it depends on how you describe sex. Will Edie forgive

Teenager Josie Gonzales is viciously raped and impregnated by an uncle in the Northern
Philippines, and is taken to Manila by her mother out of embarrassment and for an
abortion. She is placed under the tutelage of her auntie, Anna, who introduces her
to the world of prostitution in an Ermita brothel. Through the next few years, Josie
learns the "working girl" business and what men really want. After several negative
experiences, she is determined to better her life with college and earn a law degree
to help those less fortunate than herself. Her best friend, Honey Bunny, teams up
with her in their efforts for success.
Unexpectedly, Josie falls in love, which she vowed she would never do, with one
of her favorite customers, Jack Dixon, a wealthy businessman. He becomes her benefactor

and conquest of other women. Josie takes you inside the inner walls and workings
of prostitution. It's not all exciting and glamorous...and it's not all ugly and
nasty either. You'll meet her friends and colleagues, and you'll also meet the clients,

All her Friends and Customers Liked her, but...
Part-time college student, part-time prostitute Julie Larsen is found floating naked
on the reef at the north end of Saipan. The Medical Examiner is quick to determine
that Julie drowned after being swept offshore by a freak wave while she was crab
hunting. He wasn't able to account for the deep lacerations on her upper torso,
obviously not caused by nibbling sea creatures.
Julie's grandfather, affluent Rufus Larsen, hires the Saipan Private Investigations
Agency, owned by Tom Parker and Carlos Montano, to investigate who or what caused
the teenager's death. Tom hires two experienced investigators from the mainland,
Dalmacio DeJesus Dalton (3D) and Trish Gaffney, to work through all the twists and
turns. The investigators butt heads with the island power players and government
officials...and they discover that Julie was as "busy as a bee' with her many clients.
The investigators soon focus on Julie's drunken and vicious stepfather, two errant
sailors from a visiting US Navy ship, and a Jesus-like religious nut living deep
in the jungle. It soon appears that one of them could have killed her, or maybe
a huge wave did carry her off, and her throat was cut on a sharp coral edge.
The grandfather wants justice, and the investigators are determined to find the
means to that end. Carlos, 3D and Trish stay mighty busy, but 3D and Trish both
being single, and feeling the tropical heat, make some extra time for romance. And
the local islanders are more than willing to help out.

Retired LA Sheriff's Sergeant Tom Parker is still managing his refurbished hotel
on the beautiful island of Saipan with his Filipina wife Cocina, and trying to keep
track of the new intriguing cases at the Island Private Investigations Agency, co-owned
by his partner, Chamorro Warrior Carlos Montano. It seems that the more bad asses
they arrest and the more they accomplish, referrals keep more work coming their
way with clients tiring of land swindles, prostitutes and druggies ruining businesses,
violent criminals attacking tourists, and too many crooked politicians. The agency
brings two new investigators aboard, 3D and Trish, professional ex-cops not swayed
by bribes or sexy lovers. It's a wild, exciting romp coping with hidden hostages
in the jungle and during the quiet times, enjoying sandy beaches and palm trees
on a far-away Pacific island. Some of the same zany and fun-loving characters are
back and expect more flame-red sunsets, green flashes, ukuleles and swaying wahines,
and plenty of romance in the humid tropics.
Your pina colada and the fresh mangoes await - your table is set.

John Sapelalut was reaching his 60th year on the traditional island of Ulithi near
Colonia, Yap. He had been diagnosed with severe heart disease at the hospital in
Hawaii and the doctors had given him six weeks to live. A poor diet and lack of
exercise had taken its toll, and his own genetics offered little hope for additional
longevity.
He wanted to live until Christmas and see all his children and grandchildren united
at the family home. He loved Christmas and all the excitement and music. The offspring
were scattered all across the globe from Saipan to California to Iraq, where he
had a son and grandson serving in the US Army.
For local standards, John was quite wealthy with land ownership and fishing rights.
He also owned numerous donut-shaped disks of Rai, the local money that had been
passed down from generation to generation. The value was based on scarcity, and
the stone's size and history. The stone money wouldn't buy airplane tickets but
it allowed great prestige in the Yap villages.
John wanted the stone money and land distributed equally among his children. His
wife and daughter canoed to the internet cafe in the city center to search out the
children and the funds to get them home in time for a family celebration of Christmas
and John's legacy.
